I discovered that painting large, on walls, is an extremely free and open way to paint. I love to hear what my clients' ideas are then translate them on their walls! Most of the murals you see here are in other people's collections so are not for sale, with the exception of the Southern France mural which is 3 1/2' x 7' and painted on unstretched canvas. Painting on canvas then adhering it to my clients' walls and trimming it out with molding is a great way to paint large and is especially appropriate for clients, who, when they move, want to take their murals with them.

These "moveable" murals are becoming very popular. One of the most amazing things that happens when a mural is painted on a wall is that a mural opens up space because the wall disappears. Look carefully at the monochromatic marsh scene behind the tub. The wall disappears! When I painted the Scene from Southern France and trial-hung it on a wall in my home the alteration to the small room was electric....you literally felt as if you could walk through that open door! Fantastic!
